In 1989 he co-authored Valuation of Intellectual Property and Intangible Assets, the
first book on this topic. This book is in its third edition and has lead to the
publication of another ten books that cover all aspects of valuing and exploiting
intellectual property. MR. Parr's books cover valuation, strategic management and
license agreement royalty rates. We are confident that the knowledge and insights
that Mr. Parr has accumulated during his twenty-year corporate consulting and courtroom

Our seminar presentation will focus on several important themes:
- Overview of the current status of intellectual property in commerce and how it has become so very important to value creation.
- Specific ways in which intellectual property contributes to the value of the companies that create, nurture and protect it.
- Valuation methodologies will then be presented so that attendees can understand the formal methods that are currently used to qualify the value of intellectual property.
- Derivation methods for royalty rates will be a focal point of this seminar because the licensing of intellectual property among corporations is of growing importance.
